By adding rock dust and bio-char (charcoal) to the soil farmers and gardeners can help to reverse the global warming of this beautiful planet. There is an abundance of rock dust in quarries and gravel pits and in many mine tailings that could be used to amend the soil of land for producing food. Waste, including garbage and sewage could be transformed into charcoal for agricultural use and to create electricity.
Seeds sown in February- they got very leggy-trimmed them down to 3 inches and planted them out in the garden in the middle of May. I had to cover them frequently with plastic because of the late frosts- but they survived!
